NOVA's work can be defined as a silent theater Theater, because each of his paintings is like a "stage", Silent, because silence is what is perceptible in each of his paintings.
Silence of deserted streets, isolated houses, rooms that seem empty. A silence so dramatized and on which the accent is so strong, that it becomes one of the themes itself. A setting waiting for an event. Time is very elongated. A stretched time, almost contemplative.
One of the qualities in the painting of Nova is to make enter the thought of what is going to happen the next moment. In fact, in an apparently frozen scene, one expects something to happen. The whole of this work has an eminently photographic character.
