Kaza plays with the graphics of an African type mask treated with contemporary and industrial colors.

Logic and reason are symbolized by architectural lines; passions and emotions are in the splashes and graphic overflows.

"It's good to be the King" is the mask of well-being, the one that gives us the impression of being at this moment the "king of the world".

The work of acrylic paint is done with a brush and a knife. A dialogue is naturally created with the viewer, a dialogue that often touches on the intimate.

Somewhere in between outsider art and street art, KAZA seeks harmony, sensuality and energy in movement. By experimenting with colour and texture, the artist shows that creation is an act of questioning, adventure and continual reinvention.

The quest for harmonious, graphic unity

KAZA grew up in Morocco and arrived in Nancy, France at the age of fourteen. As a consultant graphic designer, he worked on visual emotion and impact. At a very young age, KAZA discovered the sensory pleasure of drawing, creating, painting and materials. It is, for him, the clearest method of expression.

From feminine portraits to coloured masks

KAZA navigates between the abstract and figurative using oil, acrylic and mixed media. He often takes his inspiration from feminine forms and African masks.

The artist’s work is fed by this research into the body, particularly the female body, always revealing an emotionally charged and positive image.
