Tatiana Yastrebova was born in the Soviet Union and lived most of her life in Saint Petersburg. After graduating from the Academy of Theatrical Arts, she worked in various theatres, opera houses and ballets as a costume and set designer. Today she lives and works in France as a professional painter.

In her painting, between figurative and abstract, forms and characters are as important as colours. Her work is particularly inspired by theatre and music which is omnipresent in her life.
