My approach is expressive and oriented towards the human being, his animal, emotional side, his energy - all this is the starting point - often from a living model or my own face as the starting point.
Then, a construction will be defined, almost exploded, almost abstract, with a search for tensions, imbalances, colors, often at the limit of action painting.
In fact my creative process is relatively short - a session lasts a few hours and several drawings will usually be produced in a very short time and with many attempts.
So there is also an important work after the fact to sort and select the most interesting works (and therefore also a lot of loss and sessions that do not succeed).
My current research is becoming more complex because it tends towards the performance and use of the moving body. I am increasingly questioning the relationship of the body to the gesture of drawing - and also the energy process in which I work. I also wonder about the ritualization of certain sessions and the exploration of certain modified states of consciousness.
