A girl is having fun with a swing. It’s Monday. The colour blue is part of the "Monday blue" feeling on the first day of the week.
"All my works are inspired by patinated walls with posters, flaking paint and all kinds of dilapidated things. I try to create something new, beautiful with these elements. This particular work is part of the Collages series. These collages are made up of all kinds of photos, images and images that I have collected over the years. I assemble original photographs, matching papers, acrylics, oil, charcoal, ink and a pencil in my works. Having always loved the appearance of walls patinated with flaked paint and old posters, I revive this aesthetic with a keen and professional eye. The mysterious painting is inspired by one of my favorite songs of the 80s; La forêt par le curé. It’s completely built with paint splashes made with toothbrushes." - db
