L'Homme qui vient is a work in Indian ink, sprinkled with touches of acrylic paint, with Cubist and Japanese influences - notably the aesthetic of the painter Akinori Haga. Gwendoline Finaz de Villaine develops a new technique based on small degraded springs, forming flower petals and waves connected to her unconscious, mixing the themes of femininity, the sea, the cosmos and sensuality. Gwendoline Finaz de Villaine is a writer, singer and painter. A former student of Radio France, Sciences Po Paris and HEC, she has worked with Michel Fugain, Elie Chouraqui, Roger Louret and Jean-Claude Camus. She has sung at Folies Bergère, Le Zénith, for M6, France Télévisions and in several musicals in Paris.

At the same time, she wrote a historical and fantastic three-volume saga, "Les Brumes de Grandville", and published a fourth novel in January 2019, "De poudre, de cendre et d’or", by French Pulp Éditions. His painting is a paper music, influenced by his stage experience, cubism, surrealism and African art.

Passionate about the 1920s period, she likes to conversate her "unconscious in the open air" with totems in Indian ink and jugs dancing; we find the influence of Cocteau, Picasso, Gio Ponti and the African masks that are dear to her.
