"A port is a charming place for a soul tired of life's struggles. The expanse of the sky, the moving architecture of the clouds, the changing colours of the sea, the flickering of the lighthouses, are a marvellous prism to amuse the eyes without tiring them out." Charles Baudelaire, Le Port "Entre ciel et mer" mixes colours and reflections in an abstract style to give free rein to our imagination. A calm atmosphere, seagulls in the foreground, some shadows and a ship looming on the horizon...the retranscription of the life of a port that gives movement to the painting and the feeling of the sea breeze.

Since my childhood I have always been very influenced by art. Thanks in particular to my father who was an art teacher and to my brothers who also worked in painting. I have always loved and been attracted to cars and the details of their design. So at the age of fifteen, I decided to study automotive design. I trained in this branch in Guadalajara (Mexico) before leaving a few months later for Germany. Two years later I moved to France, the country in which I currently live. I decided to pursue my career in art but this time in a slightly different way to what I was doing previously. I started to paint some paintings, to express my ideas differently and no longer only in the automotive field. Today I make drawings and paintings around themes that are dear to me, such as Mexican culture, my country of origin. I am more inspired by my culture since I have been living abroad and want to share it through my paintings. So I continue to learn new things and different techniques. It allows me to surpass myself every day while doing what I like. I changed path but no goal.
