Emerging Artist
After shooting the engravings at the Carborudum for 12 years of the painter James Coignard, Mireille tries out in fabric drawing. She participates in two exhibitions at the Indigo Salon in Lille, which allows her to meet large designers.
In parallel, she began her first paintings in 1989 and took as an artist's name "Andelu", the village of her birth. Mireille works in mixed techniques on canvas and on paper. It uses powdered pigments, self -paper, sand, marble powder or pastel in oil.
Mireille works by theme. Each lasts about 2 years. She draws her inspirations from her travels such as Peru, India, China, but also from wind, men, butterflies, serpentaries, busts or Babel towers.
