Younes

Younes Faghihi is an abstract painter born in 1981 in Iran, immigrant in France in 2011 and lives in Paris. He declares "& nbsp; Letters and words are the vital elements of communication for humans. In many countries if intellectual thoughts are expressed by speaking, they will be imprisoned if they are written they will be censored, and I have found a way to release words and thoughts in my paintings. I paint the Persian letters which have been tools of my emotional expression from my childhood until today. I made my own brushes and pens in large formats to let the letters express without limits on my canvas. His talent for art was manifested in his childhood at the age of 10. He began to paint and years later, he also became interested in calligraphy. He obtained his graphic design graphic study diploma in 1997 and his baccalaureate in visual arts in Iran in 2003. And because He was interested in calligraphy, he obtained the highest degree in professional calligraph of the Iranian Calligraphy Association in 2001. In 2010, he obtained the Research Stock Exchange Cité International des Arts in Paris and since then, he lives in Paris. Shortly after his immigration to France, his works were exhibited at the Grk Gallery in 2013 in Paris and then at the Le100 gallery (Paris) in 2016, at the Olivier Mousson (Paris) gallery in 2018 and the gallery of Art Donya in 2021 (Paris) represent his works. In addition, he participated in collective exhibitions like Bonhams, the Kamil art gallery and the Nicolas Flamel gallery. He manufactures sculptures and fabrics shaped to continue the movements of fabrics shaped by artists such as Frank Stella, Larry Bell and others, as he says "to fly letters out of the traditional rectangular canvas and let them present in three dimensions and form the shape of canvas as they want" he is a member of the art house Paris for almost 11 years and has worked as a full -time independent artist in Paris.
