A poetic painter
Born in 1962 in Tours, France, where he currently lives, François Pagé creates works that well and truly explode with color. His creations are inspired by poetic texts that the artist writes himself.
Indeed, his works tell a story, help illustrate the artist’s lyrical words with great subtlety, whose titles seem to be plucked straight from his poetry books.
Pretexts of his poems’ illustrations, the works of Pagé cover a wide spectrum of manners and styles, which sometimes seem inspired by impressionism, fauvism or even abstraction.
