Laur Meyrieux is a graduate of the Ecole des Beaux Arts and the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs de Paris. Her creative approach is between Art and Design, Laur asserts her diversity of skills as a designer, interior architect, art director, scenographer, and visual artist. She practices in France and internationally.
Passionate about the minimal and radical aesthetics of Japan, its architecture and refinement, Laur moved to Tokyo in 2001. She favours the delicacy of every detail of her aesthetics and opens her creative agency "Laur Meyrieux studio".
It carries out many ambitious projects for major luxury brands. Her 15 years in Asia, 11 years in Japan and 4 years in Hong Kong, have given her unique experiences and will influence her work for the rest of her career.
In 2016, Laur comes back to Paris, she acts as Artistic Director. Laur Meyrieux is a graduate of the Ecole des Beaux-Arts and the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs de Paris. She devotes herself fully to her Art and Design creations, developing her collections of objects and paintings in limited editions and unique pieces.
