From my childhood, Frédérique Bodinier translated the energy I had in me through dance. In 1991, painting opened a new way of expression for her and for the last few years, it is the fusion of the two practices that has guided her. Talking about the living, the energy that inhabits us through gesture and matter.

Her gesture allows her to express vitality and strength as much as fragility and sensitivity. It can be danced, written, painted or traced, it asserts itself over the years and identifies me.

His line tells the story and the energy that emanates between a dancer and herself, like the model facing the painter. His painting around the landscape deals more with pure matter than with the image. Frédérique Bodinier tries to be as close as possible to the sensations felt and the energy that nature transmits to us. All her canvases are made on raw canvas using natural pigments and a matt binder.
