"Waterlilies #5" is from my "Waterlilies" series, started in 2019. White water lily, queen of the laces or water moon or water lily... Fascinated like many artists by the aquatic flower, I aspire by painting this perennial plant of stagnant waters to convey this effect of contemplation and timelessness that is unique to it. Mixed technique oil and acrylic, double frame. Signed, titled and dated on the back. Varnished.

Estelle Séré Lives and works in Saumur. A trained visual artist, graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Bordeaux III, I am a child who has never stopped drawing... If the theme of landscape seems to dominate in my plastic research in painting, I like to move from an outdoor sketch to a series of collages or even to immerse myself for a while in my creative journal and notebooks... A maxim that never leaves me: "It is what I find that tells me what I seek" (Pierre Soulages).
