Born in Saint-Brieuc in 1982, Kelig LE BER draws from a very young age. He discovers graffiti and its universe in the 90s. Fascinated by all these colors and frescoes of incredible dimensions, he launches into the assault of the walls in 1998 under the pseudonym of Smoka. Perfectionist by nature, he first explores different styles of lettering with a demanding technique. Today his work as a muralist mixes portraits, typography, motifs and materials, creating dynamic compositions and a unique universe. Patterns and colours become predominant elements of his practice, giving rhythm to his works between abstraction and figuration. His murals question our beliefs, confronting our human certainties with the reality of the world and Nature. He is part of the Collectif 100 Pression in Nantes since 2006, with whom he participates in numerous Urban Art projects throughout Europe.
