Figurative painting can transcend reality through its realism, and bring to it a notion other than descriptive, otherwise his work becomes a kind of storyboard - illustration. Abstract painting, on the other hand, may have erased the suggestive elements of reality, without losing sight of the preoccupation with reality and its experience. In both cases, we can even say that the border is a space of freedom: that of creation. Painting is not in the choice of a figurative or abstract camp. On the theoretical level, I practice this abstraction in the ethymological sense of the term. Through a composition that generates meaning without referring directly to the concrete first of all. Then, by an idealization of the forms and features that allow the representation of a subject. By this the subject is no longer a simple object, but a story, a pictorial discourse. Painting is for me a language in the strict sense, which does not only seek the trace of the world as it is offered to our eyes.
