I've always drawn...
All my childhood I drew "little good women".
I know much better today that painting and drawing are a necessity for me, they fully participate in my balance.
It's like an obvious movement, almost obligatory;
I feel a bit like a tightrope walker, between will and letting go, the chosen direction and the moment to seize, what I would like to say and what comes out in spite of me, between gesture and matter.
Painting makes me enter into myself, reflect on my own language, my relationship with others, for me it is also a way to communicate;
But it is also for me a very physical game: to put all my energy to make the line spring out, to cook the pigments, the chalks, the inks on paper, the canvas ...
The matter, the gesture, in their most carnal, lead me to the remote places of my childhood, where I find the simple and full feeling of living the present moment.
