Liz Mosa is a painter and printmaker.
Her works are colorful, contrasting and surreal. She evolves in different techniques, painting, drawing and engraving (wood or lino).
Its free, wild and seemingly joyful expression unveils an intriguing and mysterious universe. This is explained by the presence of recurring elements such as skulls, certain wild animals, figures with exposed teeth and often "cut out" bodies. All of this intertwines and tells a strange story.
She is also working on a series that she calls "Homage to Painters" because she places importance on other artists. You will find the greatest ones like PICASSO, KLIMT, BASQUIAT, DOUANIER ROUSSEAU, HOPPER ... In this series, she appropriates a work and she interprets it in complete freedom.
Liz Mosa's works are at the same time intense, delicate, astonishing, colorful and mysterious.
