François Husson was born in 1953 in the Vosges.

His mother, a schoolteacher, gave the child - already endowed with a great sensitivity - a taste for knowledge. Later, sport - a rough sport, rugby - will trigger in him a need for physical contact with the material, which will be found later in his paintings.
