Born in July 1969 in Dreux, France, Nadège Aelewaters grew up in Chartres in a loving foster home. Currently in Isère, she is married, with three children. Having ended a former career Nadège began painting in 2011 to share her emotions and express herself through art. At first, a kind of therapy that quickly became a vital need.
She likes to work with acrylic, pastel and oil, three mediums that she particularly likes to work with in different techniques. It is inspired by the colours of nature. His work can be defined as a journey through the soul into an emotional, aerial and light universe. Each of her creations tells its own story that everyone can interpret at their own discretion by letting themselves be carried and according to the emotion they give them. She usually begins her creations by selecting a palette of colors that she works in different ways, with brush, knife and materials.
His paintings are often in an abstract style offering great freedom of expression and movement. Painting has become a real need for her, she paints her feelings in the present moment. He is in a kind of mediation where time no longer exists. An intuitive painting, a reflection of his identity. Her paintings evoke feelings to capture emotion and thought by expressing power to sweetness. The colours reveal a darkness that fights with flashes of light, and when shapes and figures are revealed, they appear lost and fragile against the infinite space of the surrounding world.
