Noélie Raix is a figurative painter who works with oil painting. These main themes are portraiture, genre scenes and landscape. Her work focuses on the translation of emotions and how to make viewers feel them. She likes to question the spectators about themselves through her paintings. According to her, this is one of the roles of painting. It is both a catharsis and a mirror of who we are as humans: beings made of emotions.
