Born in 1964, Corinne Vomscheid graduated from the Brest School of Fine Arts in 1988. In 1996, she opened her own studio after obtaining the status of professional painter in 1996 and regularly presents her works in international exhibitions or contemporary art fairs.
For the past thirty years, Corinne Vomscheid has been speaking on her favourite subject: Women. Working on a living model, she shares her creative experiences with us through several techniques such as oil, watercolour, pastel, charcoal or sanguine.
Throughout the paintings and his plastic research, we always find the concern for the accuracy of the drawing, respect for the human body and the work of light. Between figuration and abstraction, her work is oriented towards this limit where the spectator's eye organizes the painted surface to discover the curves of a body hidden in the large geometric touches of colours.
