After training as a watercolourist at the Ateliers d’Arts Appliqués du Vésinet for four years, Bernadette Goerger studied nude painting with Indian ink and washing at the Beaux-Arts de Paris, Ateliers de la Glacière.
These two training sessions on painting in situ were a springboard to discover the world, see it differently and want to translate it with a different medium and more in color: oil painting.
A ten-year work with H. Legrand allowed an approach to things or people in which colour reflected what the eye did not necessarily see, but was guided by the hand in an almost instinctive way.
Solo exhibitions are regularly held throughout France: Paris, Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Arcachon, Hossegor, Saint-Jean-de-Luz, as well as abroad: Geneva.
Bernadette Goerger also participates in numerous group exhibitions.
