"This oil on linen canvas represents the Pointe Courte district in Sète. Dear Brassens, this place is one of my favorite subjects. It is a complex subject because of the bric-a-brac and broc huts at the Pointe du Rat (and not the Raz!), the numerous nets and capecades that dry out everywhere, boats of all shapes (for oyster collecting, fishing, jousts, ...) and various objects. I try to synthesize to keep the essence and give the atmosphere of this place so special." - Jean-Noël Le Junter
