The painter works in series, inspired by his daily life and his environment. Two recurring areas of interest nevertheless emerge: - Genre scenes where his favourite and almost exclusive model is his 26-year-old daughter. Her source of inspiration comes from her personal experience and the human behaviours she observes and deals with in different scenes (break-up, rivalry, infidelity, etc.). She composes her work by adding reading keys using different symbols. Nevertheless, some works, such as the little girls for example, are painted simply for the atmosphere they create. - Objects and in particular transport vehicles. In this series, the painter relies on the industrial world. It concretizes the effects of time through rust and decay. She transposes the art of portraiture on these objects which have known their hour of glory and are sometimes on the verge of sinking into oblivion. "Still lifes" enable her to grasp the poetic dimension of the banality of everyday life because she remains very attached to the humble "truth" of everyday life.
