Benoît Chateau, alias Chateaub, was born on January 12, 1973 in Morlaix (29) ,. He currently lives and works in Pays de la Loire.

Coming from a family of artists, Benoît Chateau has been able to rub shoulders with various environments and influences allowing him to express his inspirations, ideas or projects. Sculptors, painters, but also architects, town planners, or carpenters cabinetmakers ... and a father professor of photography at the Fine Arts of Rennes, are an integral part of this family fiber.

He participates in fairs, or various exhibitions throughout the year, in France and abroad.

Before freeing himself as a painter or plastic artist, Benoît Chateau also expressed himself as a decorator and space designer for several years. Working on atmospheric games at the level of volumes, the layout of the furniture and the lighting to be staged. In a rather contemporary style, while remaining chic and elegant. A subtle blend of style with a Bauhaus influence that is nonetheless noticeable ...
