Nathalie Maquet is a contemporary French artist. After a master's degree in mathematics at Imperial College London and 8 years in the City of London, she resumed her studies in order to pursue her passion for painting. She obtained a “Fine Art BA” from City & Guilds of London Art School in 2012. She lives and works in Paris.

Nathalie Maquet's artistic universe is populated with plant forms that play with the limits of figuration and decoration. Her works explore rhythm and how organic and natural patterns are used to create a sense of movement and a sense of balance and harmony. His paintings evoke a state of dreaming and floating. The spectator is invited into the imagination, where he discovers a fluid and vibrant world of light and colors.
