The portrait must, in addition to the faithful reproduction of the face, convey the personality and humanity of the model. The portrait is not only the result of technical prowess. It is conceived from the start as an object of grace, a pure moment of emotion. This is what differentiates a luxury product from an ordinary product. The luxury product awakens a real emotion in us that will last over time. It remains a testimony for all brands that aspire to authenticity. It allows to incorporate the past into the present and to weld this present to a future.

My work is the result of a long term research. More than 20 years have been devoted to the search for unique recipes jealously guarded by portraitists such as Rembrandt, Van Dyck or Frans Hals, it is the signature of my work and it will always remain so. I have conducted research to uncover the secrets of their workshops, to make my brushes, my paints, my mediums, my supports... Over the years, my means of expression has been confirmed as a natural movement. I became aware that my philosophy and my interests went beyond the field of painting. To step out of the box, not to subordinate my practice to the classical laws of the market and marketing, but also the obsession for creation and a high degree of know-how, to push the limits... have always been part of my modus operandi. My artistic production is nourished by a non-conformist passion for exceptional painting and my permanent quest for the purest craftsmanship. It is dedicated to excellence and know-how whose key words are: rigour, mastery of practices, meticulousness and perhaps above all, humility. I take great care of this precious heritage, but my aim, through a know-how and techniques dating back more than 400 years, is to guarantee that my clients will be able to build up a true family artistic heritage of great quality and to pass it on to their descendants.
