Régine Pivier-Attolini Femme au guéridon

Régine Pivier-Attolini lives and works in Martigues, Provence. 

She has had the great and immense pleasure of being able to cultivate a beautiful space of freedom through painting and sculpture. To create is to favour the expression of sensitivity from an observation of the world around us. To create is to extract the essence, principle, and gist of the emotion from the reality of this world in order to go beyond the tangible, thus transferring one’s inner world into paintings or sculptures. 

Sculpture enables a new rhythmic space, half-way between abstraction and figuration. Chromatic processing sometimes becomes a symbolic and structural element. 

To create is also to find a subtle balance between strength and lightness, elegance and poetry.  It is to be a poet of  form and colour. 

Pivier-Attolini would like each person in contact with her sculptures or paintings to feel this inner impulse that has a beneficial effect and gives energy, and maybe even hope.To create is life and the ability to be oneself and express oneself.
