Graduated from a business school, Anouck Botteron worked for a long time in finance. Passionate about drawing and painting from an early age, she stopped her professional activity a few years ago to devote herself fully to artistic creation. She has trained in various workshops and has been exhibiting regularly since 2014. She is particularly fond of knife painting for the impasto, the material and the vibrations it provides. She takes the time to work on the background of the canvas, the material and then the colours to bring out the light. She scratches, sculpts the paint until she sees the layers overlap, the play of materials form and the colours mix. She likes to play with the superposition of colours and materials to reveal transparency and light. Painting allows her to express herself fully, to communicate and to share her emotions. Abstraction is present in the majority of his paintings.
