Watercolour in intense green and blue tones. This painting is still a work of memory from the spring releases of previous years. I find again the magic of the first trees in bloom which mix with the light foliage, reflections and reality mix a little. The watercolour allows a very free play of techniques, sprays, granulations, transparent washes which allow to suggest without being in a constrained realism.

Born in Rennes, after studying art in Paris (graduated from ENSAD in 1982) Anne Baron now lives and works in Alençon. All year round, she runs an artistic workshop (oil painting, drawing, pastel and watercolour classes). Passionate about watercolour, she participates in many exhibitions dedicated to this technique and offers internships as part of these exhibitions. Anne Baron has been a member of the Société Française d’Aquarelle since 2015 as well as of the independent artists of Basse Normandie.

Her landscape painting (waves, rocks, mountains and forests) seeks to express the romantic feeling of nature, with its tragic and violent as well as soft and mellow. Its flowers evoke the fragile and ephemeral beauty of life. Its dreamlike characters sometimes evoke ancient legends. It is a complete universe, a painting in fragmented touches, inspired by reality, carried away by dreams.
