Well installed in these frames, Michel Coutable does not stop observing and recording landscapes. The time spent drawing remains in his eyes the greatest of pleasures. Drawings know how to remind him. Inventive, he makes himself these supports to draw and paint during his travels to live the experience with more comfort for more concentration. The 1st StablO Nomadic easel is created. Settled in Marseille since 2007, his desire to draw the city and the region naturally settled, he finds his happiness to draw between sky and sea in the Massif des Calanques with his nomadic easel. Classical in his artistic work, drawing becomes a support for a composition. Sketches from the past can be superimposed, light and colours are reinvented... Carried by a new imagination, the sketches continue their progress in the studio.
