Originally from Nevers, the happy coincidences of life and luck made me never leave. After a year of upgrading to access art studies, I passed the fine arts competition in Dijon where I was accepted, but I preferred to pursue communication studies in which I found more opportunities. I graduated in 1996. That year, I had to meet my military obligations. My idea was not to officiate under the flags but in the civilian sector, as a conscientious objector, for 2 years, then to go to an advertising agency in Paris. I found a place as a conscientious objector in a cultural and social place in which I still work today. More than 20 years making films and taking pictures, not to mention painting, my first love. In 2002, chance, again, allowed me to see a report on Japan, part of which was devoted to the Sumi-e technique. My life changed that day. SUMI-E is an old Japanese technique from the 8th century that consists of painting with Chinese ink on paper. It is part of the Zen culture
