Plastic artist, musician, born into an artistic family, Catherine Gajac has been drawing and painting since childhood. Over the years, his pictorial practice has been enriched by new techniques and references. Photography, silver and then digital, is an essential ally in the creative process.
Nourished by the experience of travel and life "elsewhere", his work essentially develops the theme of landscape, marine, urban or rural, often inhabited.
Catherine Gajac exhibited a lot (watercolours) in the 1980/90s in the southwest of France. Her professional activity (teaching at the University of Toulouse II) then imposed a slowdown in her artistic production until 2011. Since then, she has resumed painting intensely and now wishes to offer her work again for appreciation and criticism.
