A self-taught artist, I started writing as a teenager - a series of poems were published in a collective collection by the Agricultural Credit Foundation in 2003 - and then tried other techniques such as painting and sculpture. First exposure in volume to the Bayonne Young Talent Trophy in 2003, the positive opinions encouraged me to do so for a few years. At the end of 2006, the Centre d’art Spacejunk Gallery located in Grenoble, Bourg St Maurice and Bayonne will invite me to participate in their next collective exhibition on the theme "fight", each exhibition touring the 3 galleries. First gallery entry and member of the local Spacejunk collective. Several exhibitions will follow with them.
My influences range from pop art, street art, contemporary art, nature, design. My strong sensitivity for nature will result in outdoor installations, often in large formats and interactive with its environment and/or with the public. Ten years ago I discovered beach art and since then I have been making it my main job: I make large frescoes with the unique help of a rake at low tide on the beach. This discipline, which I compare to street art by its impulsive, gratuitous nature and the appropriation of a common place, allows me to express myself on an immense space that no other medium is able to provide. I have no frame, no limit except that of time with the rising tide.
Following this close contact with nature, photography comes into play as a real second work with which I will capture a particular moment as a child appropriating the work or an isolated runner. I tell another story and thus create a second work, this time lasting. It can be just in one detail, looking more for emotion than for the immoderation or complexity of the drawing. I then print the most beautiful photos mainly on brushed aluminum for its brightness and texture.
