For more than 25 years, Jean-Marc Renaudie has travelled the world, mainly in Asia, where he has travelled for more than 4 years to discover street environments, populations and striking landscapes.
India and Nepal are his favourite places and his photographs led to the publication of the book "INDIA - NEPAL, paths through the countryside" in October 2015. Its work today, on a digital basis, also covers other countries in Southeast Asia: Burma, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, but also Africa, the Middle East and Europe...
"I strive to capture the looks, atmospheres and slices of life from a realistic angle and without artifice. I present most of my work in large format prints on canvas canvas with a fine texture which has the advantage of taking on light magnificently, both in colour and black and white, while preserving details and contrasts without reflection. The canvases are stretched on a wooden frame with a hanging system."
NB: The degraded bands that appear in the skies of some photos are due to image compression for the web and are not visible on final prints.
