This series made with a Leica camera is inspired by minimalism, zen and pays tribute to the Japanese photographer Hiroshi Sugimoto and his many horizons.

The choice of paper is a 350 gram baryta of the famous Hahnemüle brand. Pigmented "fineart" printing, i. e. the photograph offers a durable guarantee and is provided with a certificate of authenticity. The texture of the paper is visible on the example of photo N°3 Photography laminated on dibond as an option for 130 euros extra.

Jérôme Liegeois learns photography by himself when he is a teenager, then improves as soon as he is 20 years old within the editorial departments of regional daily press newspapers. As a photojournalist, he also collaborated with news agencies for about ten years and in 2003 he left this activity to open his own studio at the Vieux Port in Marseille. It is thanks to the practice of applied photography that he then turned to fashion and advertising. At the same time, he is working on creating personal series. As a result of his work as an author, he has created a flight between reality and the strange universe: "I think we live in one world, this world, but there are others nearby. I am learning more and more that subjectivity and objectivity are not such clearly distinct concepts. If their border is so ambiguous, I enjoy intentionally moving it. I allow myself a relaxation of the rules of the world: in a way, I free myself from reality by passing over the wall and I offer myself another reality. This border line is shifting according to the states in which I find myself". I am mainly inspired by photographers Juan Foncuberta, Georges Shiras, Iroshi Sugimoto, Roger Ballen and writers Yasunari Kawabata, Haruki Murakami, Bret Easton Elis
