"In the morning of the gaze - where everything is buildable, the walls evoke landscapes and nature is transformed by dreams and memories."

Agostino comes from the "Sneaking out" series that I started in 2019.

My approach is to create visual poems by combining my photographs and inks on paper to create a world between the real and the imaginary where everyone can continue to dream by observing it.

Printed on Hahnemühle German Etching 310g paper, using Epson UltraChrome HDR pigment inks. This paper has a beautiful watercolour grain that is pleasing to the eye and to the touch. Each work is limited to 5 numbered, dated and signed copies. The prices indicated are those of the prints alone.

Born in Franche-Comté in 1973, Jérôme Pergolesi lives and works in Strasbourg.

A professional artist, he collaborates with several galleries in France and regularly exhibits in art fairs. His work is also part of many international collections.

Jérôme Pergolesi likes to question the perception of the senses, the memory. In his works, where nature is omnipresent, each object is diverted, recomposed, like a visual poem. He associates photography with painting, or transforms photography into pictorial matter, and thus constructs hybrid landscapes where gestures and colour abstract reality, and give it another light.

His work with inks and paints on paper follows the same idea and offers the viewer several readings ranging from nature to introspection.
