I have always been passionate about photography, and started my artistic work as a self-taught artist in 2006. From my training in textile finishing I have kept a strong taste for colours. I seek abstraction in the most concrete things: the objects that surround me (a simple vase, plastic shirts, polystyrene packaging or a tin can), with which I make compositions, sometimes using various colours and lighting ( but always homemade). By photographing them from a different angle, I divert them from their primary function in order to sublimate their banality. I stage them to draw images with pure, colorful, pop, graphic and poetic forms that I hope are as many invitations to still travels. Generally speaking, I prefer the original photo, so I minimize retouching, most photos are just cropped and cleaned without adding elements or colors, there are nevertheless some works consisting of a montage or on which a digital processing has been done (it will be indicated "digital effect" and/or "montage" in the technical description).
