Pierre Schwartz is a photographer born in Suresnes in 1963. Passionate about nature, he devotes a large part of his work to the wild beauty of animals. Wolves, felines, wild horses are in his sights. In his research on Przewalski’s horse, his obsession is to pay homage to the last wild horse represented in Paleolithic art and to find in his images the magic of these rock engravings that marked the beginning of pictorial art over 30,000 years ago. His first book "The Last Wild Horse" in the footsteps of the Przewalski (Editions Belin) was published in bookstores in October 2017. His second book deals with the subject of the wolf’s return to France "Loup le grand retour" was published by Sweet Drone in December 2018 and is available on his website: www.pierreschwartz.fr For five years now, he has been exploring new possibilities for aerial photography with drone, collaborating with the writer Gonzague Saint Bris on the series of cultural clips "Culture Drone" and continuing photographic work on the fauna and flora of the Chambord National Estate and on the wolf’s return to France.
