Thanks to the inventive renewal of the techniques used, I transfigure, I increase the aesthetics of the photographic world, in order to offer singular atmospheres that renew the way we look at reality. When I strike a match, I ignite my heart for art, it's like a second love, a burning love. My heart beats for a few moments of happiness, the flame becomes a creative work, which I sometimes transfigure because I am not trying to account for a truth but for the intimacy of my gaze. Light the fire, light the fire, makes my artistic sensibility grow, I affirm a pictorial aesthetic, I build, deconstruct, in order to offer singular atmospheres that renew the look we have on reality.
The flame sculpts totems it is chance that reveals to me forms that I stop by my creative breath when my visual emotion is at its peak. Sometimes my matches become characters when the work is placed under the sign of experimentation. The match shows a new personality. The real seduction of my matches is to make the public admit that they are really characters. My artistic world is not that of immortality, but that of metamorphosis. The work of art is an idea that is exaggerated, my photographic works, my matches are full of uncertainties as to their status, they appear on a complex scene when my personal path vaguely crosses the reference of the photographic medium, it is the exploration, the questioning, and the poetry that prevails over the statement."
