Dacos feels a real irrational need to create, create with fervor and passion, no matter what channel he uses to get there, he likes to experiment and work in series the themes and techniques he wants to exploit, just like his latest series of drawings entitled "#STREET DRAW" series that was several times awarded (Prix coup de cour Artoulouse2019 / Jury Prize Rankart 2019) and presented in several exhibitions (including an "off-exhibition" in the The Brick Lane Galery in London in 2020).

He presents here part 1 of a series of digital collages inspired by vintage photos or old magazines to achieve surreal compositions, combining retro chic with classic pop surrealist. His collages are real little worlds to be explored and analyzed in which we can easily get lost but sometimes also remain in the questioning so much the composition can surprise as much as leave us without answer.

Christophe Dacos is a Belgian artist active both on the local and international market, presenting a variety of quality contemporary works.

Born on 7 February 1991 in Etterbeek, he currently resides in Marche-en-Famenne, in the province of Luxembourg. Fond of art since the age of 12, he studied plastic art for 6 years, mainly at the Institut Saint-Roch in Marche-en-Famenne where he discovered a real passion for painting.

In 2009, he entered the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of the city of Liège to begin a 5-year master's degree in painting. During his studies, he participated in several collectives within the Royal Academy of Fine Arts.

In 2012 he is working in collaboration with the Université Pierre et Marie Curie (upmc) in Paris to link art and science around the issue of HIV and will exhibit for the first time outside Belgium in May 2013, in Paris, at the atrium of the UPMC and at the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie in 2014.

In September 2013, he returned as a teacher at the Institut Saint-Roch in Marche-en-Famenne with the desire to awaken interest in art among the students of this establishment and thus dispense his passion.
