Contemporary plastic artwork. Transfigured augmented photograph Les allumettes Collection les allumettes. Silver metallic fine-art print numbered and signed with certificate. Support Dibond protection plexi format 140 cm x 85 cm. frame of heightening on the back. Like the Catalan painter Miro major surrealist artist who wanted to assassinate the traditional painting my plastician photographs assassinate the traditional photography.
A non-consumerist, non-stereotypical, non-documentary, non-obvious photography, outside of photographic conventions. A photography placed under the sign of experimentation, plastic arts and new technologies. A photograph that does not seek to capture a truth, but the intimacy of a look, a personal journey through photography and its history. A photography that seeks, filters, constructs, deconstructs.
A manifesto is born from the need to take a stand, to display a bias in relation to an inventory of fixtures, to assert an aesthetic, to put into words the work, which distinguishes the artist who connects the visitor to previous filiations as well as to a common way of imagining the questions of art in the present. Transfiguring, trans-figuring, figuring "beyond" with what the English-speaking finale allows us to eliminate what the French word would carry with connotations that are absent here and that we must take to the letter of this "beyond", this "through" that positions differently in the face of this reality, of which photography is supposed to provide the proof. To be in tune with the expectations of a demanding public in search of new aesthetic emotions and open to what could be called the metamorphoses of the world.
Thanks to the inventive renewal of the techniques used, I transfigure and increase the aesthetics of the photographic world, in order to offer singular atmospheres that renew the way we look at reality. For here is the central question, photography, whatever the awareness of its ambiguities, still proves reality in the collective unconscious.
