Guillaume Querré was born on November 9, 1982 in Clermont-Ferrand. He obtained the DNSEP in 2008 at the Beaux-Arts of Quimper.
During his studies, he produced his first digital paintings in 2007 with the series ''24 views of the train''. The landscape is approached through several mediums, the technique often emphasizing the subject.
From the black stone to embody the darkness of a comet to the digital brush to retranscribe today's landscapes, Guillaume Querré combines traditional and modern techniques.
Sometimes the framing is diverted from the panoramic vision of the landscape and tightens on the anonymity of a stone or a fragment of garden. The works, whether digital or traditional, question us about our relationship to time and the gaze.
