Sublimate by textile silversmith Marie Berthouloux, specialized in Gold Embroidery and material transformation, founded the Ekceli studio in 2012. She expresses her attachment to the singularity of materials.

The authentic techniques are reinterpreted, the gestures reconstructed to give breadth to these compositions and play with the light of the gold embroidery in all spontaneity. The inspiration for the works comes from the raw material.

Their properties, their natural designs, their aesthetics are analyzed to be brought to light by the gesture. The subjects are confronted with each other. The embroidery binds them together with a luminous pointillism and reveals them in a unique pictorial composition.
