Climatic Icons is an identical visual on a variation of posters of different colours, printed on Heidelberg. Printed on Fedrigoni mass tinted creation paper from 250gr/m2 to 360gr/m2 depending on the colour, this visual is a modern iconographic conception of the climate. It is recommended to frame the poster in a 50 x 70cm frame with thin strips and matt black (artist's preference).

Printing is done using a magnesium plate. This artisanal process of inking + embossing gives relief to the subject and allows rare traces of shimming. The work is delivered flat and does not allow to be rolled.

Work signed, numbered and stamped, delivered with a certificate of authenticity.

Its burgundy colour requires it to be exposed to natural light or direct artificial light.

The brutality of the graffiti, the softness of the art of calligraphy but also the Cyrillic alphabet or hieroglyphics, Woo plays with symbols and our imagination in addition.

Jack-of-all-trades with Asian roots

His pseudonym evokes both his Asian roots and his experience in Hong Kong. Within the Le Comptoir group and aboard its flagship, the Bibo restaurant, Woo drowns in the works of Banksy, Murakami, Arsham, Ron English, Jonone, Basquiat, Invader, Hirst, Kaws, Shepard Fairey, André, JR and many others. This initiatory journey reaches its peak with the Art Basel Hong Kong exhibitions, an absolute pinnacle of creativity and inspiration.

Woo is a jack-of-all-trades and has worked in music, furniture design and most recently in collaboration with the Karim Rashid Interior Design Firm in New York. He is a multidisciplinary artist who has been working in Bordeaux, France since 2005.

An instinctive art that unfolds between Street Art and calligraphy

Inspired from childhood by the graphic universe of Keith Haring or Niki de Saint Phalle, Woo's production is characterized by a technique that combines acrylic paint, pigment inks, Posca markers, and gilding. His preferred media are paper or canvas. No matter the size, no one can stop this incorrigible creative!

His art is at the crossroads of Street Art and calligraphy. Some of his works address contemporary societal themes that one can identify through his use of symbols.

More recently, we were able to meet Woo at the Halle Héméra in Bordeaux for the KAZoART back-to-school exhibition in September 2020. We had a beautiful evening during which Woo produced an exceptional live painting experience that lasted almost 2 hours!
