The Stork was Hispano Suiza’s mascot from 1919. It was during the First World War and on the front line that François Bazin, a young pilot aviator, met the founder of Hispano Suiza, who entrusted him in 1919 with the design of the brand’s symbol. François Bazin created the famous Stork in homage to Guynemer and his victorious squadron.
This Stork model is inspired by the sculpture that adorned the front of the brand owner’s boat, like a figurehead. Bronze numbered on 8 (+4 artists). Brown patina, patinated metal base.
