Jean-Pierre Picheny is a sculptor who is passionate about the female figure and its beauty. His sculptures reflect sensuality and sublimate female bodies.
A true body technician
Jean-Pierre Picheny’s passion for sculpture came late in his life. He nurtured this interest while pursuing a career as an associate professor of electrical engineering.
Afterwards, he spent ten years devoting himself to perfection of various sculptural techniques such as clay modelling, hollow casting, elastomer casting, casting with wax and bronze, patinas, body casting, resin and concrete work.
Immortalising femininity
Jean Pierre Picheny’s inspiration is found in sensuality without taboos. At the heart of his creative process there is a human and an aesthetic dimension. He produces figurative sculptures in bronze and resin but also makes realistic and abstract prints. There are no restrictions on his work.
