Diane De Sein Leger, was born in France, in Lille. She has carried out scientific and human anatomy studies that will lead her to a close collaboration with the CNRS, where she will mainly work on the bodies of great apes. In addition to her passion for animal and human morphology, she cultivates a particular relationship with art by trying to stage plays, write, paint and finally sculpt. To create, model, shape, give meaning to form by transforming the material: this is his quest. In 2010, she decided to focus mainly on her work in 3 dimensions in order to better explore the geometric properties of volumes. His favourite materials are concrete, ceramics and bronze, as shown in previous exhibitions. His sculptures are sometimes serrated, sometimes sensual, but always exude a sense of movement and strength. They evoke both mental and tactile palpation. If power and energy emerge from his artistic subjects, it is to better embody the unconscious resources of each person.
