Plastic artist, self-taught, I live and work in Poitiers (France). Colour has always fascinated me, from my first brushstrokes in the 90s to today. Van Gogh and the Fauves were my first influences that I tried to project in my paintings (oils, gouaches, pastels). The results obtained never convinced me, I needed something else, to express myself differently than with brushes and a simple canvas. I couldn’t find the key to finally find my style. Other influences were added to those described above: Vasarely and Optical art, the artists of the GRAV whose aim was to allow everyone to approach their art. (Julio Le Parc, Morellet, Sobrino...).

And in 2012, the click came when he saw a simple handful of nails in a DIY store. I knew at that moment that with this poor material, I would be able to give life to the ideas buried deep inside me. Nails, lines, geometry, volume, optical effects, waves of colours, rhythms: this is what I show in my works.
