Célia Debras draws inspiration from traditional Japanese and French lacquer techniques to create her works. She rethinks the ways in which this thousand-year-old craft is developed to create new aesthetics. She lets the material express itself, creating her own motifs, her random landscapes. These new creative processes give rise to unique, authentic and original mural and sculptural works. Depth, brilliance, matt, black, colour, gilding, silver powders, lacquer allows the artist to create without limits.
